Trekster, the Lost Girl, is an adventurer with a sorry sense of direction. That said, she has managed to find her way into, and out of, some pretty cool places around the world.
Since learning about the Camino de Santiago she has been seriously been bitten with the hiking bug. Speaking of bugs, Trekster has unrolled her sleeping bag in many hostels and albergues, and knock on wood, she has managed to avoid bed bugs…so far.
She has completed three camino and is looking at a fourth. But the Caminos de Santiago aren’t the only adventures out there. The 88 Temple walk in Japan sounds fascinating and challenging. Then there are sections of the Appalachian Trail that look interesting. In England there is the Coast-to-Coast Walk, as well as Hadrian’s Wall. Lastly, the Lycian Way on the southern coast of Turkey is rising in popularity.
Trekster hasn’t been thirty-something for a very, very long time so she needs to get a move on.
